Custom Business Solutions, a Michigan-based talent agency, is seeking an experienced Product Owner for opportunities supporting Customer Service/CRM, Eligibility, and Claims & Provider product areas. Qualified candidates submitting an application will be considered for these contract opportunities.

The Product Owner will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams, owning product strategy, priorities, and backlog execution while ensuring solutions align with business objectives, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years Product Owner, Product Management, Business Analysis, or related experience
Strong Agile/Scrum experience and participation in Agile ceremonies
Product discovery, product goals, and roadmap development
Product backlog ownership, prioritization, and refinement
User stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules
Cross-functional collaboration with business and technology teams
Stakeholder management, decision-making, and prioritization of competing needs
Sprint, release, program, and roadmap planning
Product metrics, analytics, and performance measurement
Experience reviewing and approving completed stories and defect fixes for production
Basic SQL query skills for data validation and issue investigation

DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience in Customer Service/CRM, Eligibility, Claims, or Provider domains
Healthcare or health insurance industry experience
Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements
Business Analyst background
Experience coordinating priorities and dependencies across multiple Agile teams
Implementation of AI initiatives, prototypes, or product roadmaps
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
