Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the energy and power management industry, is seeking a Product Manager, Transfer Switches to join their team. As a Product Manager, Transfer Switches, you will be part of the Interconnect Devices, Load Management & Controls department supporting the development and management of innovative power solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Manager, Transfer Switches

Location:Waukesha or Pewaukee, Wisconsin

Pay Range:$130,000 - $140,000

What's the Job?

  • Create and manage product roadmaps for interconnect devices, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Firmware, Hardware, Systems, and Controls to define and prioritize product features.
  • Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Assist in tracking product performance and identify areas for enhancement to optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on product development and lifecycle management.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 1+ years in product management within a technical environment.
  • Ability to understand and communicate systems-level behavior related to grid, power generation, backup power, and load control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams.
