Security Technician

The Role • Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance. • Diagnose and resolve application issues individually and as part of a team. • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults. • Perform routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application setup. • Document all system modifications using a digital change control tracking system. • Produce quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. What You'll Need • High School diploma or equivalent. • Experience installing and troubleshooting low-voltage equipment. • Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems. • Familiarity with network communications and IP addressing. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and time management skills.
