AI Governance Lead - Contract - Outside iR35

Overview

We're seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to establish and embed robust AI governance frameworks, ensuring AI solutions are deployed responsibly, ethically and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement AI governance frameworks, policies and standards.

  • Establish controls for AI risk management, model transparency, accountability and responsible AI.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including the EU AI Act and applicable data protection legislation.

  • Work with Data, AI, Technology, Risk and Legal teams to embed governance across the AI lifecycle.

  • Develop AI risk assessments, governance processes and reporting.

  • Drive stakeholder engagement and promote responsible AI adoption across the business.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience leading AI governance or Responsible AI initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of AI risk management, ethics and regulatory frameworks.

  • Experience developing governance policies, controls and operating models.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
