Job Title: Veeva Vault RIM Business Analyst Location: Foster City CA (Onsite) Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Veeva Vault RIM Business Analyst to support Regulatory Information Management initiatives within the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry. The Business Analyst will work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Operations, IT, Quality, Clinical, Safety, and other cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, analyze regulatory processes, and translate business needs into effective Veeva Vault RIM solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Veeva Vault RIM, regulatory business processes, submissions, registrations, regulatory data management, eCTD, data migration, UAT, and system integrations. Veeva RIM is designed to bring regulatory documents and information together across activities such as registration tracking, submission management, publishing, correspondence, commitments, and archiving.
Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Operations stakeholders.
• Conduct As-Is and To-Be process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Translate regulatory business requirements into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Serve as a functional SME for Veeva Vault RIM and its regulatory data model.
• Support Veeva RIM capabilities including:
• Registrations
• Submissions
• Submission Planning
• Publishing
• Archive
• Regulatory correspondence and commitments
• Support configuration and enhancement of Vault objects, fields, workflows, lifecycles, page layouts, security, and business rules.
