Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Security Architect GenAI to lead security, risk, compliance, and governance activities for enterprise AWS Generative AI platform implementations.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS Security Architecture, GenAI governance, Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, AI risk management, responsible AI, threat modeling, cloud security, and enterprise security architecture.

The role requires strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work with technical teams, architects, security organizations, programme leadership, and executive stakeholders. Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.

Required Experience

10 14 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance, Security Consulting, or Security Architecture.

Experience leading security and compliance activities for large-scale cloud transformation programmes.

Strong understanding of AWS Security Architecture and Governance.

Experience conducting application, cloud, and platform security reviews.

Demonstrated customer-facing consulting and stakeholder-management experience.

Experience working within Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Security Risk & Compliance Leadership

Lead Security, Risk, and Compliance (SRC) activities for AWS GenAI platform implementations.

Establish security and governance frameworks for Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore adoption.

Identify, assess, and mitigate security, compliance, privacy, and operational risks associated with GenAI deployments.

Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, and responsible AI principles.

Drive security reviews, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations throughout the engagement lifecycle.

AWS GenAI Governance

Provide governance oversight for Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore implementations.

Review GenAI architectures, security controls, and deployment patterns.

Define security guardrails for:

Data access

Model usage

Agent orchestration

Knowledge-base integrations

AI agent workflows

Support secure adoption of AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge bases, and enterprise AI workflows.

Establish governance mechanisms for secure and responsible enterprise GenAI adoption.

Security Risk Assessments

Conduct detailed security architecture reviews and risk assessments for GenAI solutions.

Perform threat modeling for AI applications and agent-based workflows.

Evaluate identity and access management, encryption, auditability, logging, monitoring, and security controls.

Assess overall security posture and recommend remediation actions.

Maintain risk registers, mitigation plans, and governance dashboards.

Track identified risks through resolution and support risk acceptance/sign-off processes.

Compliance Assurance

Ensure alignment with security and compliance frameworks such as:

NIST

ISO 27001

Responsible AI guidelines

Enterprise security policies

Regulatory requirements

Support audit readiness, regulatory assessments, and customer assurance activities.

Establish AI governance controls, review processes, and compliance checkpoints.

Develop security and compliance documentation required for production readiness.

Support production security approval and risk sign-off.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a primary security and risk advisor for business and client stakeholders.

Collaborate with AWS teams, enterprise architects, platform engineers, security teams, and programme leadership.

Present security risks, findings, recommendations, and remediation plans to both technical and executive audiences.

Drive resolution of security and compliance gaps.

Translate complex GenAI security risks into clear business-level recommendations.
