Security Engineer Service & Installation | Basingstoke / Reading / Oxford / Slough / Woking / West Berkshire £40,000 - £47,000 DOE + Overtime + Bonuses + 25 Days Holiday + Company Vehicle We’re looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join a growing and well-established team, covering Basingstoke, Reading, Oxford, Slough, Woking and the wider West Berkshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in security system installation, servicing, maintenance and small works.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of commercial sites and high-profile clients, with a company that invests in its engineers and provides the equipment, training and support needed to progress.

The Role As a Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and small works of electronic security systems across a range of commercial and private client sites. Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems.<br />Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs.<br />Completing small works, upgrades, modifications and system expansions.<br />Working with systems including Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton.<br />Supporting a range of high-profile commercial clients, including business parks, commercial premises and private estates.<br />Completing service documentation and ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard.<br />Managing your own workload and working independently on site, while being supported by an experienced engineering team.<br />Participating in a 1-in-5 call-out rota, with a standby allowance.<br />What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Security Engineer.<br />Strong technical experience across CCTV, intruder alarms and/or access control.<br />Solid installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding skills.<br />Experience with Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton would be advantageous.<br />A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.<br />Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and meet deadlines.<br />Full UK driving licence.<br />A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and progressing within the security industry.<br />What’s On Offer £40,000 - £47,000 DOE<br />Overtime at T1.5 after 37.5 hours<br />Sales commission<br />Annual Christmas / retention bonus<br />25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays<br />Company vehicle with personal use permitted<br />Fuel card / company credit card<br />Laptop and company mobile phone<br />Test equipment and power tools provided<br />Pension scheme<br />Ongoing training and development opportunities<br />1-in-5 call-out rota with standby allowance<br />Ready for Your Next Move?
