Network Systems Engineer

A manufacturing organization that produces and distributes core construction materials used in residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects is seeking a Network Engineer to join its team. This is a full-time hybrid position requiring 3-4 days onsite and 1-2 days remote, supporting a network and systems environment built on Cisco, Fortinet, Windows, and virtualization technologies.
The role focuses on maintaining and improving enterprise networking and infrastructure operations across a large-scale environment. This individual will be responsible for network performance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostics while also supporting Windows-based systems, Office 365, Exchange, and virtualized platforms. The position involves hands-on work with networking hardware and infrastructure that supports critical business operations.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional networking experience
• Experience working with Cisco and/or Fortinet technologies
• Strong knowledge of Windows administration tools, including Office 365 and Exchange
• Experience supporting Hyper-V or VMware environments
• Expertise in network monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnostics

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree
• Experience working with firewall technologies
• Familiarity with racking and stacking network equipment
