Role Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and families through evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis.
RBTs provide direct behavioral intervention services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, collecting behavioral data, and supporting caregivers throughout the intervention process.
This is an in-person position. RBTs work directly with clients in their assigned service settings, which may include homes, clinics, schools, or community environments depending on client and program needs.

What You'll Do
As an RBT, you will:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in in-person service settings.
Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
Use evidence-based teaching strategies during therapy sessions.
Collect and record accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data.
Complete required session documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
Work closely with supervising BCBAs and other clinical team members.
Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, training, and professional development.
Communicate client progress, observations, and concerns to the supervising BCBA.
Follow clinical recommendations and treatment protocols.
Support caregiver participation as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Model appropriate intervention strategies when appropriate.
Help caregivers support treatment goals and skill generalization.
Maintain professional and respectful relationships with clients, caregivers, and colleagues.
Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable ethical and professional standards.
Maintain RBT certification and comply with applicable BACB requirements.
Remain open to feedback and continuously develop clinical skills.
Qualifications
You may be a strong candidate if you:
Hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Have knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Can accurately collect behavioral data and complete clinical documentation.
Are comfortable using technology for scheduling, communication, and data collection.
Can follow individualized treatment plans and clinical direction.
Are able to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
Are comfortable providing in-person services.
Can reliably travel to assigned client service locations as required.
Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, patience, and compassion.
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required for all openings.

Other designated service locations based on client and program needs
👩⚕️ Clinical Supervision
RBTs receive ongoing supervision and support from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
⏰ Schedule
Schedule will vary based on client needs, assigned services, and available service hours.
💻 Technology
RBTs will use technology-enabled systems for scheduling, communication, documentation, and behavioral data collection as required.
