Business Development Manager - Solar & BESS Distribution

Location: Sydney, NSW

Our client is a globally recognised leader in solar and battery distribution, operating across 25 countries. Still growing fast, still genuinely values the people who help it get there!

They're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of a defined territory, growing their installer and channel partner network while bringing in new business.

Your day to day:

• Owning a territory sales strategy that grows revenue and expands the customer base
• Building and strengthening relationships with OEMs, installers and key channel partners
• Sourcing new business through research, outreach and proactive prospecting
• Managing the full sales cycle, from first conversation through to close and post-sale support
• Delivering against revenue, volume and margin targets
• Providing technical and commercial guidance to customers on project-specific needs
• Keeping a pulse on market activity, competitor moves and customer feedback
• Representing the business at industry events, trade shows and client meetings

What you'll bring to the table:

• Sales experience in solar PV, BESS or renewable energy technologies, having a network within this space will be highly adventageous
• A track record of driving revenue growth and winning new customers
• Confidence managing sales processes with both technical and commercial stakeholders
• Strong relationship building and communication skills
• A self-motivated, proactive approach and comfort working autonomously
• Openness to travel as required
