The Role • Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Install high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting hardware like clamps and insulators. • Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and crimped connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly with winching. • Participate in the revision of technical drawings by marking changes. • Contribute to new construction and modernization projects, supporting climate protection goals. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience in locksmithing, preferably from the construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, utility technology, or metal processing industries. • Ideally, experience working safely with electrical systems. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to job sites with your own vehicle. • Readiness for regular on-site assignments (Monday-Thursday) in Northern Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work ethic.
