Job Description

Schlosser / Metallbauer als Monteur m/w/d | Norden, Germany | On-site This employer is a significant player in the energy infrastructure sector, contributing to the energy transition by developing and modernizing substations. They are seeking skilled professionals to join their team and help secure the future of energy supply across Northern Germany. The Role • Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Install high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting hardware like clamps and insulators. • Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and crimped connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly with winching. • Participate in the revision of technical drawings by marking changes. • Contribute to new construction and modernization projects, supporting climate protection goals. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience in locksmithing, preferably from the construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, utility technology, or metal processing industries. • Ideally, experience working safely with electrical systems. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to job sites with your own vehicle. • Readiness for regular on-site assignments (Monday-Thursday) in Northern Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work ethic.
