They are seeking a talented Engineer III to contribute to significant submarine acquisition and development initiatives. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects with a dedicated team focused on national security. • Provide expert support to key Submarine Program Offices within the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), including the COLUMBIA Class, VIRGINIA Class, and Future Attack Submarine programs. • Contribute to the integration and acquisition efforts within the broader Team SUB organization, enhancing structures and processes for submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance. • Apply scientific and mathematical principles to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for complex technical challenges. • Engage in the design, testing, and qualification of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment, with a focus on submarines and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. • Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products and designed systems. • Oversee testing, production, and maintenance activities, ensuring the quality and reliability of manufactured products. • Master's degree in any technical or engineering discipline. • 7 years of professional engineering experience is desired. • 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment. • Knowledge and experience with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. • Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics. • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. • Opportunity to work on high-impact defense programs. • Professional development and growth within a leading engineering organization. • Collaborative and supportive team environment. • Excellent benefits package offered.
