Software Engineer, Web Applications

Presence is seeking a remote Software Engineer to build and optimize high-impact digital experiences for small and local businesses. You'll develop responsive websites and web apps, integrate CMS and marketing tools, and implement SEO, analytics, and performance best practices. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive websites and web applications for small and local business clients
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and strategists to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Implement SEO best practices, analytics tracking, and performance optimizations
• Integrate APIs, CMS platforms, and marketing tools to support campaigns and content workflows
• Write clean, maintainable code with version control and code review practices
• Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and execute enhancements based on data insights
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and cross-functional project reviews
• Document technical decisions and provide guidance to non-technical stakeholders
