Controller | Irmo, SC | Hybrid This employer is actively seeking a skilled Controller to lead financial operations within one of their local community hospitals. As a key member of the leadership team, you will leverage your financial expertise to drive the hospital towards its financial objectives in a supportive and inclusive environment. The Role • Direct and oversee the hospital's accounting system and financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, cash, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, and budgeting. • Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and any required state financial reports. • Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency, collaborating with hospital leadership and corporate teams. • Monitor compliance with relevant regulations. • Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as needed. What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred. • Minimum of five years of hospital accounting experience is preferred. • Strong knowledge of financial management and analysis principles, techniques, and managerial skills. • Relevant experience in financial management encompassing labor management, revenue analysis, expense management, contract negotiation, and utilization review. • Demonstrated experience in budgeting and creating a robust internal control environment.
