The Role

• Participate in all phases of application software development, including architecture, design, implementation, debugging, validation, and verification for web applications with Oracle back-ends.
• Manage the software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements, system design, and testing.
• Produce software code that directly interfaces with hardware.
• Debug and troubleshoot commands within an object-oriented programming environment.
• Translate requirements into system architectures that interface with hardware.
• Work with Oracle Database & Products, including installation, patching, security, backup/restoration, and disaster recovery.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
• Solid programming skills in JAVA/J2EE, utilizing Spring MVC, Spring Security, JavaServer Faces, Eclipse/Hibernate/JPA, Oracle PL/SQL, and Secure RESTful APIs/Services.
• Proficiency in developing GUI applications.
• Experience with Agile & DevOps methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, and Liquibase.
• Familiarity with application containers like Payara/WebLogic.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident and able to obtain a public trust interim clearance.
