The Role

The AI Engineer will be a crucial technical partner in advancing our AI transformation and will work closely with the Senior Director of AI to implement strategies and recommendations. This role requires hands-on experience in AI engineering and a deep understanding of AI-native ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Build and prototype AI agents, copilots, and proofs of concept based on business priorities
• Apply AI-assisted and agentic approaches to solution design, prototyping, testing, and documentation
• Integrate AI experiences with enterprise data and business applications
• Evaluate AI applications and capabilities through research and testing
• Engineer responsible AI solutions with data security and access controls
• Collaborate with development teams and prepare solutions for ongoing ownership

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience applying AI in engineering lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with AI features, LLM-enabled applications, copilots, etc.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem and enterprise AI environment
• Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs, and system integration
• Understanding of AI evaluation, data security, and access controls
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenAI/ChatGPT and Anthropic/Claude ecosystems
• Familiarity with Microsoft data and applications like Power BI and Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of agent development lifecycle concepts and Microsoft AI evolutions
• Ability to facilitate knowledge transfer and technical evaluations
