We are looking for Reporting Developer for our client in Columbus, GA

Job Title: Reporting Developer

Job Location: Columbus, GA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Expertise in creating dashboards, reports, scorecards, and executive-level visualizations.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in Power BI DAX, Power Query, Tableau Calculations, Parameters, LOD Expressions, and Filters.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of ETL/Data Integration tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Healthcare domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Create and optimize data models, datasets, and semantic layers to support reporting needs.
  • Develop complex calculations, KPIs, measures, and data transformations.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize report performance and implement best practices for BI development.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Publish, schedule, and manage reports in Tableau Server or Power BI Service.
  • Support production issues, troubleshoot reporting defects, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Provide reporting documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer as required.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with KPI frameworks, executive reporting, and self-service analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Tableau Server Administration or Power BI Administration experience.
  • Experience in data governance and report security implementation.
  • Knowledge of reporting automation and dashboard optimization techniques.

Qualification And Education:

  • Ability to work independently in an onsite client-facing environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
