Marketplace Operations Manager

Hybrid Keynsham BS31 3 days per week

About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Marketplace Manager to take ownership of our marketplace strategy and accelerate growth across Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, and future marketplace platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketplace professional who thrives on delivering commercial results, spotting growth opportunities, and building successful marketplace channels. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our marketplace strategy, driving revenue growth, improving profitability, and expanding our presence across established and emerging platforms.

As Marketplace Operations Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of our multi-channel marketplace strategy, ensuring strong commercial performance across all platforms.

 

How You’ll Make a Difference

*Owning the day-to-day performance of Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop and future marketplace channels.
*Driving marketplace sales, revenue, margin and customer acquisition growth.
*Developing and implementing strategies to increase product visibility, conversion and profitability.
*Managing listings, content, pricing, promotions and product launches across marketplace platforms.
*Identifying and evaluating new marketplace opportunities and leading successful launches.
*Monitoring marketplace performance, account health, customer feedback and compliance requirements.
*Managing marketplace advertising campaigns and optimising return on investment.
*Analysing performance data and turning insights into actionable growth opportunities.
*Working closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and Finance teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
*Staying ahead of marketplace trends, platform developments and competitor activity.

 

 

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

Essential

*Proven experience managing Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop or other major online marketplaces.
*A strong understanding of marketplace trading and e-commerce principles.
*A track record of delivering sales growth and commercial success through marketplace channels.
*Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
*Experience managing marketplace listings, pricing strategies and promotions.
*Strong project management and organisational skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*A commercial mindset focused on revenue growth and profitability.

Desirable

*Experience within the pet, veterinary, healthcare, pharmaceutical or regulated products sectors.
*Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and eBay Seller Hub.
*Experience managing marketplace advertising and promotional campaigns.
*Experience launching new marketplace channels.
*Familiarity with marketplace integrations, feeds, APIs or e-commerce technologies.
*Knowledge of marketplace compliance and regulated product requirements.
