Job Description

Role: EDVT
Location: San Jose, CA- Onsite

Day-to-Day Summary of Role:
● Participate on a project with a team of engineers involved in electrical validation testing.
● Execute end-to-end testing and will work under the direction of a senior EDVT engineer.
● Executes complex unit and system level testing, debug and isolate issues, and provide failure analysis.
● Collaborate with Diagnostics, Software, Manufacturing, and Hardware (Power/Thermal/Design) Engineering.
● Document test results and data into test reports.
● Modify automation scripts as well and configure complex network topologies using Cisco Hardware.

Required Skills
● Knowledge of hardware blocks & subsystems – NPU, PHY, CPU, High-speed signaling and clocking, signal integrity, and power design methodologies
● Experience with Hardware Validation Testing, Process, and Flow
● Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment - oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, and meters, AC power sources, DC electronic loads, traffic generators, switches, routers, environment chambers
● Solid knowledge regarding Cisco router/switch configurations, OSI Model, LANnetworking concepts TCP/IP, L2/L3 switching;"
● Thorough understanding of the OSI Model, LAN/WAN topologies, basic router and switch configurations using IPV4/IPv6/MPLS/VRF.
● Knowledge and experience with TCL, Python, Perl, or other scripting languages or automation tools and comfortable in a Unix environment
