Job description

Role: Internal Sales Smiths Advanced Metals

Location: Cambridgshire

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Office Based)

Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Internal Sales Executive, where you will play a key role in developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth.

Duties:

  • Implement clear account strategies for new and existing customers to maximise sales.

  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, both internally and externally.

  • Develop existing products in line with new sales opportunities.

  • Maintain technical knowledge of company capabilities and customer applications.

  • Record customer information and call reports accurately on the CRM database.

  • Maintain an accurate sales database and plan effectively for your territory.

  • Negotiate and finalise purchase orders and contracts with customers.

What we would like from you:

  • Experience working in a target-driven environment.

  • Competent IT skills, ideally with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • An understanding of the importance of providing excellent internal and external customer service.

  • A high level of self-motivation and enthusiasm.

  • The ability to identify solutions and tackle complex objectives and problems.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a confident approach to communicating with customers.
