An aerospace services company is seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead its aerospace services division. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and strategic planning within the aerospace industry.
Schedule: Full-time, with extensive travel required.
Compensation: $200,000 to $250,000 per year, based on experience.
What You'll Do:
The VP of Sales develops and implements comprehensive strategic plans to drive growth and expansion in the aerospace services sector, proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by building relationships with key industry leaders. This includes expanding and maintaining a broad network of industry contacts to strengthen strategic positioning and open new avenues for business.
The role leads the sales team in developing and executing sales strategies to exceed revenue targets, promoting teamwork across functional teams to ensure exceptional client service. The VP of Sales stays informed on market trends and competitive activity, manages the development and delivery of proposals, presentations, and contracts to attract new clients, and analyzes sales performance data to refine strategies and provide executive management with actionable business insights. The role also represents the company at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and networking.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sales and business development within the aerospace industry
- Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales quotas and expanding business operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of the aerospace industry, including key competitors and market dynamics
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of motivating and guiding high-performing teams
- Strategic mindset with strong planning, execution, and goal-achievement skills
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet business needs and engage with clients and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
