Senior Musical Instrument Retail Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments in our retail store. You will assist students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and services while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include actively engaging customers, meeting sales goals, processing rentals and repairs, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting lesson program sign-ups. You'll work closely with a collaborative, education-focused team, promoting community engagement and helping grow music education in your local area.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand needs and recommend instruments, accessories, and services
• Drive sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments to meet or exceed store goals
• Process sales, rentals, repairs, and lesson transactions accurately
• Support school service efforts by assisting educators, parents, and students
• Maintain merchandising, inventory organization, and store cleanliness
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on band and orchestra instruments
• Promote and explain private lesson offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a student-focused experience
• Handle basic customer issues and escalate complex concerns as needed
• Participate in in-store events and community outreach as required
