About the OpportunityThe Information Technology (IT) function is seen as an important enabler to the achievement of HammondCare's mission. This is driven by the requirement of the organisation to meet the changing needs of people with complex health or aged care needs and our employees within a growing geographically diverse organisation and across a continuum of care. The role of Salesforce Senior Developer is to support within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in SFDC solutions. This is a maximum term contract for 12 months based at St Leonards with hybrid working opportunities.
What you will be doing- Collaborating with the stakeholders and the technical team to validate business requirements and solution design with any development considerations (security, scalability, limits)
- Develop in Salesforce using standard automation tools and custom development tools based on specific requirements to extend Salesforce to support business requirements
- Maintaining existing Apex, LWC, Flows, etc; setting new standards as required going forward
- Work with devops and release management tools as required (gearset, github)
- Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
- Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs or Mulesoft Composer to integrate with other systems used in the organization
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
- Engage with all Agile Ceremonies within a release cycle to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code, utilising Jira, Service Now, devops and test automation tools as available
- Peer review development work completed by internal team and delivery partners
- Collaborate with other IT disciplines including service delivery, infrastructure, security, other application developers or partners, data and BI analytics and partner development teams (duplicate entry removed)
- Integrating and maintaining business applications within our Salesforce Platform Stack such as Mulesoft Composer, FormAssembly, Conga Composer, Conga Sign, Experian, Amazon Connect and Google API
- Support the Business Champions, Salesforce Administrators, System Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Technical Lead, Technical Architect, and partner consultants in any capacity required as needed when working as part of the team

- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II
- Omnistudio Developer
- 6 years minimum working as a Salesforce Developer or equivalent experience
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well to solve problem within a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Experience developing in Omnistudio, Apex, Visualforce, Javascript, and SF declarative automation tools
- Ability to write, update and interpret technical specification documentation and test scripts
- Experience with Confluence, Jira and DevOps
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and continue grow your skills in this role and as a Salesforce Professional
- Desirable Certification or Experience in Health Cloud
- Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organisation
- Competency in HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript, REST and SOAP-based web services
- Java, C++, .NET or other Object Oriented programming experience
- Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as MS Azure or AWS
- Contribution to open-source projects, or personal project in a good state of development
