About the role

We are looking to hire casual Vineyard Operators to join our Barossa Ridge Vineyards team for a 3-month period although this may be extended.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of growing super-premium fruit for some of our most loved Penfolds wines. With shifts varying upon seasonal demands, this role will also give you the chance to pick up paid seasonal overtime! Your day-to-day will consist of:

• Conduct tractor and machinery operations, including pruning, harvesting, spraying, mowing, mulching, trimming, and leaf plucking
• Manage irrigation operations and perform maintenance tasks
• Engage in hands-on vineyard work such as training and trellising to ensure the highest quality standards

About you

Successful applicants will naturally take pride in their work, be motivated to learn new skills, throw themselves into being one of the team, have a good eye for detail and an overall positive attitude.

• Vineyard operator experience is a nice-to-have but we are open to a variety of past skills!
• Safety focused with an eye for detail
• A reliable and engaged team player
• Able to perform manual handling work (a pre-employment medical check will be part of the recruitment process).
• A full and current Driver's licence without restrictions
• Experience with irrigation is a plus!

The Supply Way

"Our Supply Brand Vision is to be the custodians of TWE's present and future, and the partner of choice for our divisions, customers and suppliers. To be truly representative custodians and partners of choice, we need to be aligned on the way we do things, on the way we show up to work every day, on our behaviour and our values.  It is this shared mindset and shared set of principles that are unique to Supply that we call The Supply Way.

It takes all varietals!

Just like the wide range and variety of brands in our wine portfolio, TWE embraces diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin or on the basis of disability.  If you require any assistance to be included in our process, please contact recruitment@tweglobal.com, quoting the job title and reference number.
