Mid-Level Data Scientist

Vantor seeks a Mid-Level Data Scientist to prepare and process large datasets, automate data workflows, and support analytics, modeling, and LLM/NLP projects for a national security mission. This is a full-time, onsite role in Reston, VA, requiring an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare, and process structured and unstructured datasets for analysis.
• Automate ETL and repetitive data preparation using Python, SQL, and scripting tools.
• Operate big-data environments and support development and deployment of data pipelines.
• Perform basic statistical analyses, create visualizations, and report findings.
• Document data preparation methods, scripts, and pipeline configurations.
• Support downstream modeling, LLM/NLP workflows, dashboards, and data products.
