About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Payroll Consultant for an initial six-month contract supporting a major Australian organisation.

This is a hands-on role providing Level 2/3 support, configuration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement across an established SAP ECC6 Payroll environment.

We offer hybrid working arrangements, balancing time in the office each week with the flexibility to work remotely, depending on role and location.

What You’ll Do

• Provide SAP Payroll production support, configuration, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, time evaluation and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, PAYG tax, superannuation, modern awards and enterprise agreements.
• Manage incidents, changes and service requests using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Support SAP Notes, system enhancements, testing, releases and payroll-related integrations.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years' SAP ECC6 functional consulting experience, including 5+ years in SAP HR/Payroll support.
• Strong Australian Payroll expertise is essential, including taxation, superannuation, schemas, PCRs and wage types.
• Proven SAP configuration, troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Experience with LSMW, BDC, SAP OSS Notes and release management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, business analysis and communication skills.
• Broader SAP HCM experience across PA, OM, Time Management and ESS/MSS is advantageous.
