About the Role

We're looking for a Product Designer to help evolve a financial health and wellness education platform from MVP to a mature tool. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, you'll focus on detailed design, production handoff, and continuous enhancements across web and mobile.

What You'll Do

Design & Handoff

Roadmap & Iteration

  • Support continuous delivery of new features and enhancements across sprints
  • Design new tools and modules (e.g., learning content, calculators, goal tracking)
  • Use analytics and user feedback to prioritize fixes and translate insights into designs

Agile Delivery

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Content to shape sprint plans
  • Manage workload across concurrent sprints, balancing near-term and upcoming work
  • Respond quickly during build, unblock engineers, and make pragmatic tradeoffs

Outcome Focus

  • Track experience metrics (task completion, engagement, satisfaction) and use them to shape enhancements
  • Advocate for the customer with evidence-based alignment

Experience

  • 5+ years of digital product design with a track record of shipping high-quality work
  • Strong detailed design, design systems, responsive design, and developer handoff skills
  • Experience iterating on live features post-launch
  • Experience working closely with engineers in agile sprint environments
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and defending design decisions

Skills

  • Strong interaction, visual design, and UX writing collaboration
  • Expert in Figma (components, variables, auto layout, prototyping, Dev Mode)
  • Comfortable with whiteboarding tools (FigJam, Miro)
  • Solid WCAG and inclusive design knowledge
  • Comfortable using qualitative + quantitative inputs to prioritize and iterate
  • Strong communication and cross-functional alignment
  • Meticulous attention to detail with pragmatic prioritization

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, HCI, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

  • AI-powered feature design with Responsible AI and privacy-by-design

Deal Breakers

  • Less than 5 years of experience
  • No complex workflow/self-service experience
  • No agile engineering collaboration
  • No Figma/prototyping proficiency
  • No accessibility/WCAG exposure
