Electrical Engineer

Our client, a national building services consultancy, is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.

Working across a wide range of sectors and project types, this is a genuinely excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career with a business that invests heavily in training and offers a clear, fast-tracked route to Senior Engineer and beyond. **The Role** You'll work alongside experienced engineers and technical directors on a varied project portfolio, gaining exposure to different building types and design challenges rather than being pigeonholed into one sector.

You'll be supported by a structured development plan, mentoring from senior engineers, and funded progression towards Chartership. **Key Responsibilities** - Producing electrical building services designs from concept through to detailed design and construction stages<br />- Carrying out electrical calculations, load assessments, and cable sizing<br />- Producing and reviewing specifications, schematics, and technical drawings (with support from Revit technicians)<br />- Liaising with clients, architects, and other members of the design team<br />- Supporting site inspections and monitoring where required<br />- Working towards Chartered status with the ICE/CIBSE, supported by the business **About You** - Degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)<br />- Around 3-6 years' experience in a building services consultancy environment<br />- Working knowledge of Amtech, Revit, and/or relevant design software<br />- Working towards Chartership (or keen to start the process)<br />- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a design team - Clear, fast-tracked progression route with regular reviews<br />- Structured training and development programme, including funded Chartership<br />- Exposure to a wide and varied project portfolio across multiple sectors<br />- Supportive, collaborative team environment with senior mentoring<br />- Competitive salary and benefits package If you're an Intermediate Electrical Engineer looking to fast-track your career with a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people, get in touch to find out more
