Sr. Technical Support Engineer(Java, javascript, mysql)

Toronto, ON(Hybrid -weekly 2days in Office)

JD:

Web Services (SOAP/REST), networking fundamentals, scripting and familiarity with a programming language, and relational database concepts.
Can be learned on the job: SSO and authentication, and email protocols and servers

• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java/JavaScript, including experience writing and debugging JavaScript code.
• Experience with dynamic web technologies including AJAX, AngularJS, CSS, XML, HTML/XHTML, JSON, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Working knowledge of the components within a modern web application stack.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP, firewalls, load balancers, ports, DNS, and network troubleshooting tools such as Ping and Telnet.
• Experience with remote administration technologies including SSH, SNMP, WMI, and PowerShell.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL concepts (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST Web Services, including troubleshooting integrations between enterprise applications.
• Understanding of communication between distributed applications.
• Experience with authentication technologies including LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, or similar identity management systems.
• Understanding of email systems and troubleshooting including Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
