COO – Group (Operations) Shared Services – Offshore Location - CassonX

A truly unique and exciting opportunity for someone to work with the CEO on building outstanding Operational Shared Services for all their Operational requirements.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has proven experience of leading and and directly managing responsibility within a regulated broker-dealer, with off-shore delivery teams, that acts as custodian of clients’ securities, including maintaining the client asset books and records, reconciling positions with external custodians/CSDs, administering corporate actions, and fulfilling client asset safeguarding obligations. We are specifically looking for those benefit from a proven background in traditional brokerage or an investment platform, and must have additional custody experience to boast. You must be able to demonstrate leading substantial teams across multiple markets or jurisdictions, with proven experience with institutional counterparties and supporting their clearing, custody and post-trade infrastructure.

This very exciting opportunity will see you overseeing an outsourced post-trade operations, reconciliations, client onboarding due diligence, delegated regulatory reporting processes, revenue capture, intercompany allocations, operational loss monitoring, revenue assurance, operational finance and treasury function. Ensuring a resilient multi-asset class operational capabilities (equities, ETPs, bonds, funds and options, plus where applicable CFDs, FX and Commodities). The function supports everything to do with trade lifecycles, controls, client onboarding, surveillance / monitoring / reg reporting, revenue and expense accountability, transformation, agreements, MIS, incident support and ownership of a very large team. This role will require regular travel.
