• Position: Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead) - Software Engineering
• Employment Type: Contract( Inside IR35)
• Location: Leeds, UK(Hybrid 3-days in a week)

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and embed quality throughout the application lifecycle.
• Apply functional and business knowledge to architect end-to-end testing strategies, establishing key quality metrics to effectively evaluate test execution and defect resolution.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, driving cross-functional collaboration, contributing to high-level decisions, and providing solutions to complex problems across multiple teams.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Test Automation and Test Management, specifically ensuring the efficient use of the Playwright test automation framework and leveraging agentic capabilities to optimize delivery.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, champion the adoption of emerging technologies, analyze testing outcomes, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
• Possess suggested proficiency in testing processes, quality improvement, and the retail industry vertical.

Required Skillsets: Retail, Playwright TypeScript, JIRA/Zephyr
