Post-Trade Software Engineer (Java/Python)- Market-Leading Global Hedge Fund

Now looking to hire a strong Software Engineer, with Java and/or Python expertise, to join Post-Trade Engineering where you'll own systems end-to-end and build platforms that directly underpin the business.
In this role, you'll develop and operate the mission-critical software platforms that support the firm across the full post-trade lifecycle. These distributed systems process millions of transactions every day while supporting the most important business functions, including Operations, Treasury, Risk and SRE.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on development experience in Java and/or Python
• Excellent CompSci fundamentals, including OO design, concurrency, distributed systems, and system design
• Experience building and owning production software
• Experience designing scalable distributed applications
• Strong communication & collaboration skills at all levels of technical ability
