Residential & Light Commercial HVAC Outside Sales Representative

Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Sales Consultant to grow residential and light commercial business in the Lexington, KY area. In this field-based role, you'll meet with homeowners and small business clients, assess comfort and system needs, and recommend energy-efficient heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions. You will prepare detailed proposals, explain options and financing, and coordinate closely with install and service teams. This position is ideal for a motivated, customer-focused salesperson with HVAC or construction experience who values reliability, safety, and long-term client relationships in a small, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on residential and light commercial HVAC sales leads in the Lexington area.
• Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to assess comfort needs and existing systems.
• Recommend HVAC solutions, explain options, and present clear, professional proposals.
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company tools and pricing guidelines.
• Close sales while maintaining strong customer relationships and repeat business.
• Coordinate with install and service teams to ensure smooth project handoff and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and track pipeline, forecasts, and follow-ups.
• Stay current on HVAC products, rebates, financing options, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Uphold safety, quality, and customer-first standards on every visit.
• Represent Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning professionally in the community.
