AWS Databricks Platform Support Architect

Position : AWS Databricks Platform Support Architect
Location: Raritan, NJ (Onsite)
Job Type : W2 Contract

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Databricks Platform Support Architect to lead the administration, production support, governance, security, and optimization of enterprise Databricks platforms running on AWS. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Databricks environments across multiple stages and ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, administer, and support AWS Databricks environments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, Unity Catalog, and access controls.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain governance, security, IAM, RBAC, monitoring, and compliance controls.
• Optimize Databricks platform performance, scalability, availability, and AWS cloud costs.
• Automate platform deployments using Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Cloud, Security, and other technical teams on platform architecture and enhancements.
• Establish best practices for Databricks administration, support, security, and governance.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Databricks on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks administration and platform support.
• Experience with Databricks Workspaces, Clusters, Jobs, Workflows, and Unity Catalog.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, RBAC, security, monitoring, and governance.
• Experience providing L2/L3 production support and RCA.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
