Legal Assistant - Residential

HCB Widdows Mason is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our Residential Property team. This role is perfect for individuals interested in a career in property law and looking to support our team in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Handling client inquiries and providing timely updates on residential property transactions.
• Managing the opening and closing of files in accordance with the firm’s regulatory and compliance standards.
• Conducting legal research related to residential property laws and regulations.
• Assisting solicitors in preparing documentation for property purchases and sales.
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and client communication.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation within our case management system.
• Performing general administrative tasks, including organizing files and scheduling meetings.
• Occasional reception duties when required.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in document preparation.
• A background in residential property law or related experience is preferred but not essential.
