Some HR roles are all about policies.

This one is about people.

You'll spend as much time on the factory floor as you do behind a desk. Coaching managers. Supporting employees. Solving problems before they become bigger problems.

Why this role?

Because this business genuinely invests in its people.

You'll join a supportive HR team where you'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience across recruitment, employee relations, engagement, reward and continuous improvement projects.

There are genuine opportunities to develop your career, both within the HR function and across a wider international group, with support available for further professional qualifications.

The role

This is a true generalist HR Advisor position supporting a busy 24/7 manufacturing operation.

You'll be:

  • Coaching and developing line managers to build their people management capability
  • Managing employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary and performance issues
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Driving wellbeing and engagement initiatives across the site
  • Advising managers on employment law and HR best practice
  • Supporting reward activities, including annual bonus processes
  • Getting involved in HR projects that improve the employee experience

What they're looking for

  • You'll already be working as an HR Advisor or in a similar generalist HR role in a fast paced environment- Food Manufacturing experience would be a real advantage
  • Enjoys being out on the shop floor, not hidden behind a desk
  • Has solid employee relations experience and is confident coaching managers
  • Can build credibility with people at every level of the business
  • Takes a pragmatic, common-sense approach to HR rather than relying purely on policy
  • Is organised, resilient and enjoys working in a fast-moving environment
  • Holds (or is working towards) CIPD Level 3 or Level 5

If you're looking for an HR role where you'll be trusted to make decisions, encouraged to develop, and given the chance to make a visible impact every day, this is well worth a conversation.
