Principal Engineer
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Location: Miami, Florida (On-site)
Role Overview
This organization is seeking a visionary technology leader to serve as a Principal Engineer. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight for web, mobile, and full-stack digital projects. This role demands a forward-thinking architect who actively drives proof-of-concept initiatives and implements modern artificial intelligence tools. The professional will collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with overarching business objectives in the consumer digital space.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and strategic direction for web, mobile, and digital platform initiatives.
• Drive the creation of proof-of-concept models to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee front-end and back-end development processes, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
• Direct the implementation of RESTful APIs, Node.js applications, and GraphQL services.
• Promote the adoption of modern artificial intelligence tools and stay aligned with industry trends.
• Ensure engineering best practices are maintained across the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
Experience: Eight to ten years of progressive software engineering experience, including dedicated tenure in a principal engineer or solutions architect capacity, is required. Experience with business-to-consumer or direct-to-consumer digital projects is necessary.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in front-end digital technologies, back-end development utilizing Node.js, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs, and the practical application of modern artificial intelligence tools is required.
