Job Description

DIGITAL PROJECT / ACCOUNT MANAGER

Leatherhead, Surrey

Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH

Full-time onsite during 3-month probation period

Salary: £30–40K

Our client is an award-winning, independent Digital Creative Agency based in Surrey and featured in Design Week’s Top 100 UK independent agencies.

Established for over 16 years, they are a friendly and supportive team of digital specialists working with some fantastic global brands. They have a reputation for producing high-end creative work, from immersive digital experiences and interactive campaigns to AR, websites, email, social media, holograms and 3D content.

They are now looking for a Digital Project / Account Manager with around 3–5 years’ similar agency-side experience to join their team.

This is a genuinely blended role combining hands-on digital project delivery with client relationship management . We’re looking for someone who can keep multiple projects running smoothly whilst also being confident, personable and credible in front of clients.

You’ll work across a varied mix of digital projects including social, email marketing, web pages, web banners, video content and larger integrated campaigns and product launches, so broad digital experience is preferred rather than someone whose experience is focused on just one channel.

The project/account team is not sales-target focused. The emphasis is on delivering brilliant work, building strong client relationships and becoming a trusted day-to-day partner to clients.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Managing multiple digital projects and campaigns from initial brief through to delivery
  • Acting as a key day-to-day contact and building strong relationships with clients
  • Taking client briefs, interpreting feedback and translating this into clear briefs for the internal creative/studio teams
  • Creating and managing project plans and identifying key milestones
  • Keeping clients and internal teams on track against agreed deadlines
  • Managing timelines, deliverables, budgets and scope of work
  • Pulling together project quotations and monitoring project costs
  • Confidently flagging when client requests fall outside the agreed scope
  • Developing a strong understanding of clients, their brands and brand guidelines
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on time
  • Preparing for and participating in client meetings and presentations
  • Identifying potential issues early and helping keep projects on track
  • Supporting larger integrated campaigns alongside senior team members
  • Keeping up to date with developments and trends across digital marketing and technology

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Around 3+ years’ experience within digital project management, account management or a blended PM/AM role
  • Ideally experience within a digital, creative or integrated agency
  • A good understanding of different digital marketing channels and how they work together
  • Experience working across broad digital campaigns rather than one specific channel
  • Excellent client-facing, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisation and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Confidence managing client expectations, budgets, timelines and scope
  • The ability to take a client brief and communicate requirements clearly to internal creative teams
  • A hands-on, collaborative approach and the ability to remain calm when managing busy workloads

B2B experience would be advantageous, but strong B2C candidates with broad digital campaign experience will also be considered.

Experience with Teamwork and/or Jira would be useful, but ultimately our client is looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong client empathy and brilliant organisation.

Ideally, you’ll be based within a sensible commute of Leatherhead.

Salary & Benefits

£30–40K depending on experience

In addition to paid annual leave, benefits include:

  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Subsidised Gym Membership
  • Hybrid working following successful completion of the 3-month probation period
