Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Primary Skills: Windows/Linux Dedicated Compute, JavaScript, Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
  • Secondary Skills: Monitoring and deployment tooling
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience.
  • Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, and Perl.
  • Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Experience with Glassbox especially, as well as monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, SiteScope, etc.
  • Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and/or AutoSys.
  • Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of firewall rules).
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and regular expressions (Regex) skills.
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills using standard tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl).
  • Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate work across system admins, network engineers, and end users.
  • Self-starter with a track record of delivering complex solutions with minimal oversight.
