Job Description

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

• 5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy, or support role.
• Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
• Ability to use TSO and ISPF.
• JCL skills.
• Ability to write REXX and working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB).
• Experience in z/OS Automation Migration Projects.

Product Experience

Candidates should have implementation and operational experience with:

• NetView for z/OS
• System Automation for z/OS

Candidates should also have the willingness to expand skills across related automation products.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

• Knowledge of other IBM Z software, including:
  • System operation
  • Configuration and automation
  • z/OS startup and shutdown processes
  • SMP/E
• Knowledge of products that compete with the IBM products listed above.
• Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z.
