Speech Language Pathologist - Speech Therapy (0.75 FTE)

You’ll assess and treat a wide range of communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, creating personalized care plans that support meaningful progress for patients of all ages. From managing medically complex conditions in acute care and guiding safe swallowing practices, to providing ongoing outpatient therapy and specialized services, to supporting children with developmental and communication needs, your work will span the full continuum of care.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, engage and educate patients and families, and contribute to coordinated treatment and discharge planning. You’ll also play a key part in maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance while supporting program development and quality initiatives. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:  Knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology. Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and related impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment. 1-5 years experience working as a speech/language pathologist with some experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.

EDUCATION: Holds a masters degree from an approved college or school of speech/language pathology.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY:  Eligible for certificate of clinical competence.  Current State Licensure in speech pathology (as Speech Pathologist) required. Current BLS certification.
