Databricks Solution Architect

Introduction

The Databricks Solution Architect is a key member of our team responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing modern hybrid or multi-cloud data analytics solutions using Databricks technology. This role requires a deep understanding of Databricks on hyperscaler platforms like Azure and AWS, as well as experience in data pipelines, data modeling, and full stack data product development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect modern hybrid or multi-cloud data analytics solutions using Databricks technology
  • Implement data pipelines and data modeling on hyperscaler platforms like Azure and AWS
  • Lead workshops, build proposals, and conduct presales activities
  • Provide thought leadership through blogs, white papers, and presentations in D&A events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver successful outcomes

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Experience in solution design, architecture, and implementation of modern hybrid or multi-cloud data analytics solutions
  • Proficiency in D&A stack of Databricks on Azure/AWS
  • Knowledge of modern data pipelines and services in Databricks
  • Experience with agentic workflows, context engineering, and front end development in Databricks
  • Demonstrable thought leadership and presales experience in data analytics
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling, data organization, and data engineering on cloud

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience as FDE with RSA role for Databricks Professional Services
  • Knowledge of data management practices like data quality management and data governance
  • Experience in DataOps automation and DevSecOps considerations
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure provision, data observability, and Cloud FinOps
  • Working knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF and DAMA

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Technical certifications in Databricks
  • 14+ years of experience in data analytics with a focus on cloud data technologies
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience on Databricks
