Job Description

Description Expertise and Functions

  • Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development
  • Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process
  • Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
  • Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques
  • Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
  • Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
  • Proficient in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc.
  • Collaborate with leadership at all levels
  • Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
  • Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers
  • Mentor less experienced engineers
  • Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution in relevant engineering or science discipline required
  • Master's Degree preferred Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
  • MRO, Depot Level repair and integration experience preferred
  • Experience with systems integration, structural analysis and/or Python preferred Security:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical Requirements:
  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits

  • Wellness Resources Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
