Production Operative, Packing Centre

Stonegate Farmers is a UK producer of free-range and organic eggs, with operations spanning farming, egg packing, and cooked egg processing. The business supplies retailers, food manufacturers, wholesalers, and restaurants, playing an important role in delivering quality food products to customers across the market.

As a Production Operative, Packing Centre, you will support the day-to-day packing operation by helping ensure products are prepared accurately, safely, and to the required quality standards. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in consistent work, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable contributing to a busy production environment where quality, hygiene, and safety matter every day.

Responsibilities

• Pack eggs accurately and efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area using clean-as-you-go practices.
• Report hazards, spillages, defects, or contamination risks promptly to supervisors.

• Previous experience in food production, packing, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Experience following hygiene, safety, and quality procedures consistently.
• Experience reporting operational issues, hazards, or defects promptly to supervisors or team leads.
• Able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive physical tasks.
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Experience working accurately in a production environment is a plus.
