Senior Ready Mix Sales Representative

The Senior Ready-Mix Sales Representative is responsible for all sales and sales-related activities in the assigned territory. Related activities include customer care, monitoring market trends, forecasting and accurate reporting. With the sales team, develop and execute detailed annual business/sales for the assigned territory
Source and develop developing customer referrals and relationships
Track current trends in the national and local economy and understand the impact on the local ready-mix market
Proactively maintain open communication regarding customer requirements and expectations to appropriate plant, dispatch, quality and management personnel
Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned area
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
Share expertise and experience with other sales team members
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction materials industry
Mid-level skill level with Microsoft Office Software, i.e.

Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Familiar with CRM and customer contact databases
Familiarity with ERP-SAP
Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
