- Escalations & Investigations: Lead, manage, and investigate complex AML and Fraud cases or complaints, using strong judgement to drive effective resolutions.
- Audit & Governance: Ensure processes meet stringent audit, risk, and compliance standards aligned with regulatory updates, covering AML Manager responsibilities when required.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships across Transfer Agency, Compliance, and Relationship Management, representing the team in meetings with senior internal and external stakeholders.
This role could be right for you if you have:
- Qualifications: Professionally recognised industry qualification(s) such as ICA, CAMS, or IOC.
- Experience: Proven track record in a senior AML Compliance or AML Operations role within financial services, fund administration, or transfer agency environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of UK Money Laundering Regulations, financial crime legislation, and best practice guidance.
- Complex Structure Expertise: Strong background analysing complex corporate structures, trusts, charities, and identifying ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).
- Project & Leadership Skills: Experience participating in or leading large-scale AML/financial crime projects, process enhancements, or transformation programs.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work independently under pressure.
