Job description

About the Role

As the customer-facing technical lead for partnerships at an early-stage robotics AI company, you will connect robotics foundation model capabilities with partner engineering needs. This role helps turn technical discussions into deployments and commercial partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Build a deep understanding of robotics foundation models and deployment systems so you can explain them credibly to partner engineers.

  • Lead technical discussions with partners, from initial meetings through pilot scoping and contract negotiation.

  • Coordinate between research and engineering teams in Seoul and Tokyo and partner organizations in the United States.

  • Work with US leadership to scope and negotiate pilot and partnership terms.

  • Work from the San Francisco office about three days per week and occasionally travel to partner sites.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to ten years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, technical consulting, technical product, or technical partnerships.

  • A background in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience, with the ability to engage deeply with machine learning and robotics teams.

  • Experience owning commercial conversations and negotiating pilot or partnership terms with large enterprises.

  • Experience in deep tech, robotics, AI infrastructure, or enterprise software, and genuine interest in physical AI and robotics.

  • Korean or Japanese language skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Market-rate compensation based on experience and seniority, plus early-stage equity. The salary range has not been specified. Candidates must have US work authorization or an H-1B visa that can be transferred.

Location

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California, with on-site work about three days per week and occasional travel to partner sites. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
