The Role • Setting up milling machines and boring mills. • Clamping and unclamping large assemblies on machining tables and angles. • Deburring workpieces and large assemblies. • Performing drilling, grinding, and cutting operations with hand-held tools. • Mobile eroding of assemblies. • Carrying out bonding and filling work. • Installing and removing large assemblies in fixtures. • Working according to drawings, parts lists, and production documents. • Operating overhead cranes with rotating devices and lifting beams. • Operating industrial trucks and aerial work platforms. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Cutting Mechanic, Tool Mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Several years of professional experience in the metalworking industry. • A further qualification as a bonding practitioner is desirable. • Ability to work at heights up to 5 meters, using fall protection.
