Job Description
* Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems.
* Work with data transport technologies, including traditional wired networks, wireless transport (Wi-Fi and cellular), collaborative platforms such as video teleconferencing, and the hardware and software that support them.
* Support cyber defense operations through analysis, monitoring, investigation, and response activities across enterprise and operational environments. Requirements: * Experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.
* Experience using intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, host system logs, and related cyber defense resources to identify vulnerabilities and respond to cyber events.
* Experience developing mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect infrastructure systems.
* Experience in network or system administration is required.
* Foreign language experience may be considered toward experience requirements where applicable.
* Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field such as: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, Computer Security
Level 1 * Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience OR
* Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience
Level 2 * Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience OR
* Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience OR
* Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience OR
* Doctorate plus 2 years of relevant experience
Level 3 * Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience OR
* Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience OR
* Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience OR
* Doctorate plus 4 years of relevant experience
Level 4 * Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience OR
* Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience OR
* Master's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience OR
* Doctorate plus 7 years of relevant experience
* US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required Desired Experience: Relevant certifications and specialized training may include, but are not limited to: * JCAC graduate
