Oracle Cloud / Google Cloud Consultant

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer/Architect with hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) for a 6-month contract engagement. This role requires someone who can start quickly and either holds an active Public Trust clearance or is willing/able to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on OCI and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (or OCI Resource Manager / Google Deployment Manager)
• Manage identity, access, and security controls (IAM)
• Support containerized workloads using OKE (OCI) and/or GKE (Google Cloud Platform)
• Set up and maintain networking, storage, and compute resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration, data pipelines, or application deployment
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud performance and cost

Required Skills:

• Experience with OCI Compute, Storage, Networking, and/or Google Cloud Platform Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC
• Familiarity with Oracle Database/Autonomous Database (for OCI) and/or BigQuery (for Google Cloud Platform)
• Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Kubernetes experience (OKE and/or GKE)
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or PL/SQL
• Strong understanding of cloud IAM and security best practices

Preferred Certifications:

• OCI Architect Associate/Professional, or
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Architect

Clearance:

• Must hold or be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance
